"Usually it's all the same stuff -- dildos, dildos, dildos," said Nicole Jones, 22, who left the show with a bag of floating candles. "But this show is like the oil and candles -- the romance part of sex."
The show's manager Denise Millen said the event is about "passion ... the sizzle part of sex."
Leesa Barnes, founder of Black Venus which sells erotic, edible oils, agreed. "It's more about the entertainment, the lifestyle." "The show is trying to get an upscale audience," she said. "This is more sensuality and erotica."
Sensuality was what Mary Taylor was trying to teach at her Bedroom Games booth. She runs workshops for women who want to learn the art of a strip tease.
Using a life-sized doll, Bob, she showed one woman how to do basic moves like "stirring the pot," by shaking and gyrating her bottom.
The show runs until tomorrow.
